In the last 24+ hours, I believe some of you were not able to access this website, it was due to the router burned-up.

Yesterday, right after arriving at home, I noticed the unpleasant red LED lit in the router's power status. The other LED status were not lit up. *dang!* the router is burned up now Frown

After quickly rush to the nearest computer supplier (thank goodness they opened until 9pm!), I quickly replaced it and for the sake of me getting connectivity, I let it run. A couple of minutes later, I found out that the router does not support the IP addressing that I had with my ISP Frown

After getting in touch with the ISP tech support, the only answer is: the router is dead (I know already! d'oh! But no harm asking right?). The ISP tech guy give me two options: I contracted for another 1 year and I get the router free, or I buy it my own without any binding contract ($79 outright). C'mon, I am not that insane for the sake of $79 bucks and being bonded for 1 year! Wink

This evening, I rush to the ISP shop storefront and buy the replacement. Too bad though, that the old one is right after the 1 year warranty coverage.

So, if you were trying to access this website and no luck in the last 24 hour, my sincere apology on behalf of the router. It was just burned-up and decided to quit its job Wink

Hope you folks enjoy your stay.
