My answer is: NO During my entire teaching life (on and off) and a couple encounters to several question and answers, I keep bumping to the 'stupid question' phrases. i.e.: - hey, I have a stupid question that I think you can answer it
- that's a stupid question, why on earth did you asked that?
- etc ...
Now, let's get some things straight:
- people asking that 'stupid question' are mostly don't know and they were honestly and truthfully wants an answer. So, if you are being asked a question that you think it is a 'stupid question' -> think again before you spit out that comment. Remember: before you are as smart as now, you are also 'that' stupid
 - to me, there is no stupid question. However, not asking that question and not knowing what you wanted to know is stupid
 - no matter how smart you feel about yourself, asking a simple (stupid) question could actually tell you how smart you are
So, folks, try to live in a more positive manner/ attitude, please? If we keep using the word 'stupid', then believe it or not, you are programming yourself to be a stupid person. Why don't we change it to: simple question. Thus, we could change/ program ourselves as a simple person? I recall telling my former students: start simple and grow/ expand it from there. I keep telling that both in networking (Cisco academy) and programming classes (various languages). let's simplify our life in this challenging and exciting world.
