Just a couple minutes ago, I was struck with the actual reason of why I want to be a CCIE.
In the past attempts (wave 1, around 2002-2003), the reason I want to try to be a CCIE is due to work, aka better pay. During the second wave (around the last blog entries between 2006-2007), the reason is not much changed, even added by one more: business reason. Still the 'better pay' reason. Better pay still there, but not much of the higher rank than the following reason: I want to be a CCIE because I want to be the expert of that. Thus, even though I am now in the third wave of becoming a CCIE, it is know because of thirst of knowledge that take over all other reason(s). When I compared it with my other experience that brought me here today, all are because of thirst of knowledge. However, in the best interest of anyone, I prefer not to be called 'teacher' and being bowed down till you kiss my toes . I prefer to be called a student, or the better wording: the scholar. Because I believe by being a scholar, I could spread the knowledge that I know to any other scholar(s). Its where the universe' balance happen in the domain of knowledge. Till then ...
