(open this article in full/ read-more and scroll to the bottom if you need to access the tips directly) I bet some of you had wished that you knew the last position in your Microsoft Word document that you opened last time. There are two ways to achieve it:
The first and harshest way is to purposely crash Microsoft Word (application), and then just open Microsoft Word. Once launched, you will be (most probably) seen a left bar telling you about last opened document that was not closed (or saved) properly. This option may not be pleasant as you may not be able to re-launch Microsoft Word after crashed and see the notification bar about the recovered document. The situation can become worse if your company's IT policy purposely de-select the Microsoft Office document recovery feature. Lucky if you have the later version of Microsoft Office, as they have this feature enabled by default and may not be able to be disabled/ de-selected. Another option is to re-open the document and hit [Shift]+[F5] -> voila! Hope this tips helps you in going back to the last position in your Microsoft Word.
